Selection Criteria

Our market area is small and intimate, with space for approximately 40 stalls.
We place great emphasis on a balanced selection of goods and aesthetically pleasing stalls that blend seamlessly into the festival atmosphere.
We will only begin the selection process once all applications have been received. You have the same chance of being considered on the last day of applications as on the first.

Food vendors will be given preference if they prepare their food using gas instead of electricity (we have limited capacity for this) and offer organic and regional cuisine.

Traveling artisans

are welcome at our designated locations. Artisans are invited to offer their own original, self-made products in the area in front of the main entrance.

Important:
This area is intentionally designed as a platform for craftspeople, artists, and creative individuals. Our goal is to foster genuine craftsmanship and individual creativity. "Self-made" refers to products that have been predominantly designed and crafted by the seller themselves.

Examples of permitted items include: handmade jewelry, self-sewn or printed clothing, original artworks, ceramics, woodwork and leatherwork, homemade natural cosmetics, and handcrafted instruments.

Items not permitted include: purchased commercial goods, resale (e.g., of Shipibo products), simple rebranding or the mere embellishment of mass-produced items, mass-produced goods, wholesale items, and food products.

If you wish to sell products that were not primarily made by you, we would be delighted to receive an application for a regular market stall. This allows us to fairly support both our artisans and our vendors.

No advance registration is required for the artisan area. You may choose your own spot within the designated area in front of the festival grounds. A team member will stop by during the day to note down the items being offered and collect an appropriate market contribution.

Important:
All artisans must be able to completely dismantle their stall at the end of the day. Permanent structures or left-behind materials are not permitted.

Should there be any uncertainty regarding whether an offering aligns with the spirit of the artisan market, we will discuss the situation with you on-site. In cases of doubt, the festival management makes the final decision.

This policy aims to preserve the original character of the artisan market as a platform for self-made crafts while ensuring fair treatment for the regular market stalls.
