The Ancient Trance Festival is a fantastic platform for both its guests and you as a workshop leader to gain new experiences and share your own.

We're already looking forward to an exciting variety of workshops in the areas of music, crafts, movement, sustainability, and herbalism. Over four days, we invite you to sing, make music, dance, build, craft, grow, rest, connect, learn, and improvise together with our guests. And if you have a completely different idea, you're of course also very welcome to apply. We would also like to offer workshops for children and young people.

Framework conditions

We will only begin the selection process after the application deadline. Until then, we will not be able to answer any questions. You will hear from us as soon as we begin the selection process.

No transport, no food, no accommodation

As the workshop team, we are primarily responsible for coordinating the workshops. This means:

• We will prepare a setup with tables, chairs, and a sound system, if needed for your workshop.
• We will not transport any other materials for you. This applies to setup, takedown, and any other time. We also have limited capacity for storing materials and accept no liability for them.
• Each workshop leader is responsible for their own travel, meals, and accommodation.
• Further important information, such as the exact location of the workshops or the workshop kiosk, and the times, will be sent to you by email.

Conditions

You determine the participation fee for your offer. We retain a portion of the net revenue to cover our organizational costs. The terms and conditions are currently being adjusted for 2026.

Ticket

Each workshop leader receives at least one day ticket for the day on which the workshop takes place.

No guarantee

• We are a music festival, and therefore we can never guarantee completely quiet rooms and a calm atmosphere during the workshops!
• There is no guarantee that one or more workshops will be held, even if you have conducted one or more workshops with us in previous years.
• If you register for multiple workshops, there is no guarantee that you will be able to hold them all. It is possible that only one workshop will be approved.
• In the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms, we cannot guarantee that workshops scheduled to take place outdoors will be feasible. However, we will do our best to make it possible.
