Ancient Trance Festivalarea
The Festival takes place in Taucha. Even if we, unfortunately, can't dance the whole night through, this facility has many advantages:
All the ways in the city centre are short and beautiful to walk along.
Huge parts of the festival-area are situated in the green heart of the city, all along the bank of the small river Parthe. The stages are in walking distance of max 10 minutes from the camping area.
Those who want to be even faster can bring along their bike.
The lake-stage- is this years cultural stage, market place and meeting place at the nicest location in town.
Here you find shadow, food, relaxed and exciting worldmusic, jaw's harps, market for instruments, our "juice-bar" for non-alcoholic, fruity longdrinks, mixed drinks and much more....
on the other side of the lake the chill out area is situated- tents, jurts, the children space and the healing area- relaxation, wellness and time for the kids...
The castle - open area, for every one who wants to take part. Bands, dance and DJ's, sessions.
Here you find also the festival-buero.
Also an exhibition about the jaw's harp with a collection of the most various rare ethno music instruments, invites you to linger around in the renovated gallery rooms of the castle.
Campingarea:
There are several possibilities for you where to place your tent:
Fairground- in direct neighbourhood to the open air pool and the main stage.
Green-Camp - in the park of the city you can really enjoy. A lot of shadow and silence. If you however want to have a barbecue, you have to do this at the fair-ground. The distances between the camping areas are only three minutes in walking distance.
Food and Beverage:
About your physical health you don't have to worry at any of these areas. There is a lot of delicious food and drinks at any place of the festival.
Of course we want our marketeers from far away to be happy, but we don't want to deprive you of the Gastronomes of Taucha, wich also offer some possibilities to get yummy food.
Nightlife:
As we chose to celebrate within the lovely town of Taucha we will do this in mutual agreement with the local people so to say to respect there needs and feelings.
The nights are rather quiet in Taucha- unfortunately also in this year there is no possibility to offer you the whole night of dancing with loud music, but here are some hints:
The Café Esprit is a cozy place, located in the city centre, where to have some live sessions and party until the later hours of the night with nice atmosphere. The program at Cafe Esprit is going to be under the sign of the Ancient Trance during these days.
 Also our tea tents - Chai Garam and the Café Oriental invite you for relaxation and company during the late hours - nevertheless here we have to take care of the people of Taucha so there can't be any loud music...
