The Ancient Trance Festival is a place for everybody: it doesn't matter if you are 12 months, 12 years or a grownup.
Just bring your kids to the festival- there are meadows, enough shade, choices for children and choices for children and their parents.
There's an open air pool nearby, inviting our little festival guests to have a swim. A special camping area for families is planned so that there won't be any any loud music at night.
Come and try! Festival and Kids fit perfectly together at the Ancient Trance Festival. Children up to a height of 1.11m (43.307 inches) have free entry and the taller kids up to 16 years pay €15.
So come and enjoy the family feeling:)
The special place for children and parents: our KI D 'S SPACE
We're inviting young and grownup children...
...to come and play, read, dream, paint, tinker, do handicrafts, play music, jump on the trampoline or plash in the water basin.
Besides a beautiful free space under the trees and in the kid's yurt where parents and children relax and spend some happy time together, we also offer you many different interesting workshops and things to do... especially for our little guests:
Fr, 4.30 pm: Welcome to you all to help design our space! You can use all the colours of the rainbow to paint elfes, dragons, pixies and other magical creatures (or simply your own foot- and hand-print) on a paper wall that will decorate our kid's yurte.
Sat, 11-12.30: Paintings of the Aborigines with Trina Jung: In this workshop you'll learn why and how Indians or Aborigines paint(ed) their faces. With your new knowledge and inspiration you can get yourself painted or paint yourself like them.

Sat, 12.30 - 2.30 pm: Learn with Elke and Sebastian how you can burn your name into a piece of wood only with the sun and a magnifying glass. (Only if there's sun, of course. If not, they'll offer something else with wood. For kids from 6 years)
Sat, 3 pm: Come and join eerie pirate Messerjockel Zausebart on his quest for the legendary treasure of the Taucha silver pond
Sat, 4.30 pm: Splashing and tinkering with clay. (Please give a small donation for material)
Sat, 5.30 - 7 pm: Drum workshop with Ben Rouka: Rouka means "hand" in Russian. With his hands the drummer Ben from Leipzig creates fiery rhythms on his djembes, congas, congas and cajons. Let him teach you how and join into the beat:) (Please give a small donation for the artist)
Sun, 11 - 2 pm: Make your own Puppet theatre with Chrissi: You can make your own creatures from sticks, fabrics and recycle materials. Later on we'll call them into life and play with them.

Sun, 3 pm: Kid's Yoga with Maria Diener: Let the shaman ulabur enchant you and join our yogic journey...(for kids from 4 years)
Sun, 4 pm: "Twister" alternated: Globe Twister. Instead of simple colours, you can let your hands and feet wander over all continents. For smaller children we have the normal Twister game as an easier alternative.
Sun, 5 pm: Making pearls out of fimu material
